Mark was born and raised in Kansas City, MO and has enjoyed playing professionally since he was in high school. He earned his Bach. of Music Education and Master of Music-Conducting degrees from New Mexico State University, and has been a music teacher for 30+ years in Texas, New Mexico, and Missouri. He has performed in England, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Caribbean, and Mexico, as well as in numerous U.S. cities. Mark has appeared with entertainers such as Bob Hope, Dinah Shore, Clark Terry, Charlie Rouse, Guy Lombardo Orchestra, Pete Christlieb, Tony Campise, Chris Vadala, and many others. Mark not only enjoys playing music with the Midnight Blue Orchestra, he also very much enjoys the fellowship and comradery with the other band members. "Everyone in MBO is so nice and fun to be around, which makes it even more enjoyable to perform, and even rehearse, with such versatile and talented players".
Larry is our Trumpet and Flugelhorn player, has several vocals with the band and is a lifelong friend of director Sam King, (they grew up on the same block).
He has a degree in Geography from the University of Missouri Kansas City and played in the university band for several years..

Man can he Jive.
De playing the Bass and giving us the Bass vocals. De has spent 50 years on guitar/bass. He's a retired technician. "MBO and the dancers? Soooo worth it!"
Monte is always suprising us with his Lead Guitar.
